Station Fund |

The object of the Station Fund is to assist in the continued improvement and restoration of Hampton Loade Station, to provide facilities and a friendly working atmosphere for working members. The main source of funds is the Station Shop which is located in a preserved goods vehicle of Great Western Railway design known as a Fruit D. An example of items provided for the Station by the Fund is the traditional lamp and wooden fencing in the photograph. Fund raising at the moment is concentrated on provision of new staff accommodation due to the imminent departure of the coach which has been in use at the station for many years. |
